New Orleans · Performance & Movement Systems

Performance isn’t a talent.
It’s something you can train.

EntropyFit is a diagnostics-first system built on root-cause movement science. Whether you’re rebuilding out of pain or chasing a faster 40, the process is the same: find the actual mechanism, then build the output. Pain, normal function, and high performance aren’t different services — they’re one spectrum, and Ellis Wells works the whole thing.

The Core Idea

Pain. Normal. High performance.

It’s one spectrum, not three different services. Entropy is the tendency of a system to drift toward disorder — a compensation pattern nobody named, a joint quietly doing another joint’s job. Left alone, that drift shows up as pain. Diagnosed and reversed, that same mechanism is what raises a ceiling.

EntropyFit runs one diagnostic system across the whole spectrum — whether the starting point is an old injury or an already-solid athlete looking for the next gear.

One diagnostic system. The whole spectrum.

Two Tracks, One Method

Who this is built for

Wherever you sit on the spectrum — recovering, holding steady, or chasing a new ceiling — the diagnostic process doesn’t change. What you’re training for does.

Segment 01

Adult Clients

High-income professionals carrying chronic pain or an injury history nobody has actually explained. You don’t want another generic program — you want a diagnostic, intelligent process you can trust.

Segment 02

Youth & High School Athletes

Speed, first-step mechanics, and force development — trained by a coach parents trust not to mismanage their kid. The Performance Camp is the entry point.

The EntropyFit System

Four principles, one hierarchy

This is the intellectual property behind every program EntropyFit builds — rehab-informed, biomechanics-driven, and systems-based. It doesn’t change whether the goal is pain-free movement or a faster 40; only the target output does.

01

Multi-Planar Progression

Sagittal → Frontal → Transverse → Integration. The body doesn’t move in one plane, so training that only lives in one plane leaves you exposed.

02

Constraint-Based Progression

Progression built around systematically removing or introducing movement constraints — not arbitrary difficulty increases.

03

Tissue Adaptation Timelines

Programming respects the physiological timelines tissue actually requires to adapt, instead of a calendar that was never based on your tissue.

04

Stability → Strength → Power

The sequencing logic underneath every program: stability is earned before strength, strength before power.

The Founder

Not a trainer.
A diagnostician.

Ellis Wells doesn’t identify as a trainer. He identifies as a diagnostician of human movement — systems-driven, mechanically curious, and motivated by root-cause thinking over surface-level solutions. Seven years running EntropyFit in New Orleans, most recently serving as an NFL Combine Prep Assistant Coach.

Questions

Before you reach out

Is EntropyFit only for pain, or also for performance?+

Both. Pain, normal movement, and high performance sit on one spectrum, not three different services. The same diagnostic process that resolves a chronic ache is what removes the ceiling on someone already performing at a high level.

Do I need to already be injured to work with you?+

No. Most clients come in with a chronic ache, an old injury that never fully resolved, or a performance ceiling they can’t explain. The diagnostic process is the same either way: find the actual mechanical cause before prescribing anything.

How is this different from a personal trainer?+

A trainer starts with a program. EntropyFit starts with an assessment. Ellis works at the intersection of rehab-informed training, biomechanics, and systems-based coaching — the goal is root cause, not a generic split.

What is the Performance Camp for?+

Built for high school athletes and the parents making the decision on their behalf. It trains acceleration mechanics, first-step quickness, and force development under a coach with Power 5 and NFL Combine Prep experience.

Where is EntropyFit located?+

New Orleans, Louisiana — offering 1:1 and small-group in-person coaching, with digital programs built to reach clients beyond New Orleans.
