The Founder
Ellis Wells
Diagnostician of human movement. Founder of EntropyFit, New Orleans.
Who Ellis Is
Wired to find the why
Most coaches count reps. Ellis pulls movement apart. Seven years building EntropyFit in New Orleans, coaching at the Power 5 level, and a run as an NFL Combine Prep assistant coach all sharpened the same obsession — figuring out why a body moves the way it does, and what it could do if the brakes came off.
The work lives where rehab, biomechanics, and strength & conditioning overlap. That’s deliberate. Pain and performance ceilings are usually the same thing in different costumes: a mechanical problem nobody bothered to trace to its source.

Background
Where the credibility comes from
NFL Combine Prep
Recently served as an NFL Combine Prep Assistant Coach — training at the level where mechanical inefficiency shows up on a stopwatch and a scouting report.
Seven Years, New Orleans
Seven years running EntropyFit LLC, building a 1:1 and small-group coaching practice across two distinct client segments.
Systems, Not Scripts
Rehab-informed, biomechanics-driven, systems-based — the line that separates EntropyFit from a standard trainer or strength coach.
The Name
Why “EntropyFit”
Entropy is a thermodynamic principle — the tendency of systems to move toward disorder. EntropyFit reframes that principle positively: it’s a name about the capacity to change, in either direction, better or worse, from pain to performance.
The brand is built on the idea that the same law governing physical systems governs the body — and that pattern-recognition across domains isn’t just a naming device for Ellis. It’s core to how he thinks and works.
Mission
Why EntropyFit exists
To diagnose and resolve the actual mechanical root causes of pain, dysfunction, and underperformance — rather than treating symptoms or applying generic training programs.
Who EntropyFit Is For
People who want a diagnostic, intelligent process they can trust — and who are willing to do the work between sessions, not just show up to them.
Who EntropyFit Isn’t For
Bargain-seeking clients, people chasing a quick fix instead of a root-cause answer, and anyone unwilling to engage with the process outside the session.
